Our Gather series offers a one-of-kind immersive experience designed to foster theological exploration and guided conversations around a catered artisanal meal. When we look to scripture, we see a resounding theme of the life of Jesus: sharing joyful and intimate meals with his disciples, followers, and friends in order to impart his divine wisdom and boundless love. Our Gather events happen throughout the year and are formed around the flow of the Church year, offering a unique and enriching way to observe the life of Jesus and purposes of God, along with our own spiritual rhythms.

What can I expect from Gather events?

  • The Church year is an ancient discipline for arranging the life of Christ followers. It moves through the themes of Anticipation, Hope, Transcendence, Lament, Redemption, Easter Tide, Birth of the Church and Ordinary Time. Our “Gather” series will follow these themes as we enter the sacred stories of Scripture and share a meal with both new and old friends, inviting Christ to sit among us as our spiritual host and honored guest.

  • The purpose of these gatherings is to hear Scripture in a creative, and possibly new, way. After a short story from Scripture we will have a shared, casual reflection and discussion. This is not a gathering to “explain” Scripture as much as to “discover” Scripture. For both the initiated and uninitiated, the purposes of God are new everyday and should be entered with curiosity and expectation.

  • Dinner will be catered by one of the fabulous local restaurants in Stevensville. An attempt will be made to thematically align the menu with the Church year.

  • Of course! However, each guest must register separately in order to attend. We limit our Gather events to 12 people, so we encourage you to register well in advance in order to secure your spot.

  • Yes! We will have gluten-free and vegetarian options available at each meal.

  • Unless indicated otherwise, our Gather events are $30 per person.

  • The entire event will last around 90 minutes.
